Younger stems lack the density needed for structural applications, while older ones risk discoloration and fiber brittleness.

Our forestry partners use AI-powered scanners to identify prime culms, ensuring every HTR Bamboo product starts with raw material that meets our rigorous hardness and aesthetic standards.

HTR Bamboo offers two curated color profiles for designers:

• Ecru: Achieved through low-pressure steam treatment, this warm neutral complements minimalist interiors.
• Caramel: Extended high-heat processing deepens the tone for bold, contemporary spaces.

Both options are ideal for indoor use. For outdoor projects like HTR Bamboo decking, Caramel strips undergo additional impregnation to resist UV damage and moisture ingress.
