How buying works

Start with an inquiry.
Review samples later.

You do not need a completed sample review to ask for a quote.

Share your needle format, approximate quantity and destination. Tell us which details you still need help choosing.

Go to the inquiry form ↗

  2. Agree the sample

Confirm the configuration, packing, sample cost and timing with our team before placing a sample order.

  3. Review what arrives

Compare the sample with the agreed specification. Share your findings and resolve open points before production.

What to check when your sample arrivesOptional reading · Nothing to fill in here

Use this guide after you receive a sample. Keep your findings in your own review record and discuss them with our team. This page does not collect or save sample results.

Start with the right reference

Keep the sample ID, supplier product ID, specification or drawing revision, and the variants covered together. Record the finish, artwork and packaging revision. Agree the measurement method and quantity units before checking.

Unit example: 10 pairs × 2 needles per pair = 20 needles. This is an example, not an HTR packing offer.

Size & point profile

Compare diameter, length and point shape with the agreed specification. For circular needles, distinguish tip, cable and overall length. Record measurements and tools used; a photo cannot establish a tolerance.

Surface & finish

Compare the agreed colour and finish; note any rough areas. If checking yarn handling, record the yarn and method so the result has a clear scope.

End stops & connections

Check the relevant end cap, cable or mating part against the agreed fit and function. Agree any force or cycling test in advance; do not assume a durability rating.

Size marking & artwork

Check text, legibility, position and artwork revision. Compare only the marking and packaging options confirmed for this configuration.

Set contents & packaging

Count pieces per unit and check the size mix, labels and protection. Photograph the complete contents and packed sample against the agreed packing record.

Required documents

Check that any requested product- or destination-specific documents apply to this configuration. A product photo or handling check is not certification.

Share a clear decision

For each check, record the requirement, method, sample quantity, result and evidence. Use Accepted / Rejected / Open / Not applicable; explain exclusions and keep unknowns open.

Keep buyer and supplier confirmation, dates, approved scope, deviations and next actions with the sample record. For a revised sample or reorder, disclose changes and agree which checks to repeat.

Approval is not a purchase order. Confirm availability, pricing, delivery and production authorization separately.
