When factory-direct supply makes sense for Germany

Local distributors are normally the practical route for one standard sheet, an urgent replacement or a small immediate project. HTR is designed for furniture, cabinetry, countertops, stair parts, sporting equipment, interior joinery and other OEM applications where the panel must match a drawing, finish or repeat specification.

EU import and EUDR checks for German buyers

Products made solely from bamboo are outside the EUDR scope described in the European Commission FAQ. A wood-core or mixed-material panel needs a separate composition and compliance review. EUDR application dates depend on operator category: the Commission currently distinguishes 30 December 2026 from 30 June 2027. The German importer or licensed customs adviser must confirm the live product scope, tariff classification, importer role and any required declaration before contracting.

Documents to request before shipment

Ask for the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, panel composition/processing statement and packaging records. Add the certificate, test report, inspection record, FSC wording or other export document that applies to the quoted construction and destination. Document names, quantities, materials and claims should agree across the order file.

Approve a representative physical sample; colour and grain should not be accepted from a screen alone.
